WEES is a non-commercial, educational, FM radio station at 107.9 Mhz on your FM dial, with a public studio in the Gold Coast Mall on the Coastal Highway in Ocean City, Maryland. Reaching a population of over 300,000 in the summer, WEES is the first and only low power FM station in Ocean City. WEES programs are also streamed over over the internet. WEES relies upon community participation in many forms. Volunteer announcers develop their own programs, that are produced live at our Ocean City studio in the Gold Coast Mall. Our Community Calendar alerts listners to upcoming, local activities that may be of interest, it is compiled through station consultation with area business leaders. This information is broadcast live and is also found on the station's Facebook page@WEES RADIO, which contains postings from listners and volunteers. WEES airs early childhood educational programming every weekday morning. At other times, the station airs a variety programs which are consistent with family oriented content. We welcome volunteers that want to start their own weekly shows.

Mondays 7-9 p.m. Wheel of Musical Mayhem and The Progressive Lens
Rob Buck, "Radio Rob" lets a spin of the wheel decide each week's musical theme or genre -- Rock, Soul, British Invasion, New Wave, 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s and "Prog Rob" always finishes by rocketing through space and time to bring the mind bending spectrum of Progressive Rock --classics, hits and deep cuts from the pioneers, virtuosos, and the modern purveyors.
Tuesdays. 4-6 p.m. The Tracks of my Years
Bob Murphy, "The Captain" plays No. 1 hits, celebrates birthdays of musical artists, and mixes in other favorite songs of the 60s and 70s.
Tuesdays 8-10 p.m. Rock and Roll Ramble
Bob Wigo hosts Classic Rock, Soul, Blues and Americana. Minimum conversation ................MAXIMUM MUSIC
Wednesdays 6-8. p.m. The After School Detention Show
Denis Jenkins, "The Professor" , offers his unique blend of Rock, Blues, and America music
Thursdays 7-10 p.m. The Haze
Bill Freedman presents the music of groundbreaking artists of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, with an emphasis on rare, live, and studio selections not heard anywhere else on radio.
Fridays 3-4:30 p.m. Doo-Wop with "the Dean"
Dino Fradelos airs the best street corner recordings, a weekly musical trivia contest, and more hits of the 50s and 60s.
Saturdays. 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. The Rock and Roll Time Machine
Rick Bohs, "The Doctor" , programs the roots of rock, jukebox memories, the Motown 6-pack, classic alblum cuts, and tracks played from featured vinyl records.
Sundays 9-11 a.m. Viva Italia
Wayne Cicale brings back musical memories from classic Italian American Artists, from Frank to Dean and in between. (Wayne has moved back to Pennsylvania, but is assembling a remote sudio there, and looking for an Ocean City Partner who can help him in this time slot. -- any volunteers? )
